Great North Run

Great North Run

In keeping with trying to add something every week or so, this is what I received in the post this week. This is my Great North Run runner number. As you can see it displays that my starting zone is E, this puts me just behind the semi-pro runners. When signing up for the run, I gave an estimated finish time of roughly 1:50, which was very ambitious at the time, and I don’t image i’ll do it in less…

Hard Drive Clock

Hard Drive Clock

So, this is my first post in nearly a year! I massively failed at my original aim to keep the blog updated with an entry per week or so, but I’m going to try and set a more realistic aim of at least one entry per month.   I’ve been meaning to get round to making a hard drive clock for months now and as per usual it got forgotten or put to the back of my mind while I…

Media Centre

Media Centre

I recently managed to get a compact PC (eMachines ER1402) for a bargain price for £99.99, in the Ebuyer “MAYhem” sale. Pizza

Pizza

So I haven’t posted in a while, and tonight I made some pizza. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out, it may have been a bit simple, but I haven’t cooked pizza in about two years, when me and my friend Kyle attempted it. I used a recipe available here, and just added a few little things, like cheese and pepperoni in the crust! Heres the outcome: Hopefully I’ll be making some more with the left over yeast…

Final Year Project Hand In!

Final Year Project Hand In!

So, on Friday 8th April 2011 I handed in my final year project. Although I still have another research paper to do, this was a massive weight off my mind! The total page count was 80, and 29,000 odd words. I’ve still got to demo my program in May some time too, but I’m not too worried about that.   Here’s a few snaps of the weather of the hand in and the finished and bound document. After the hand…

Work, Work, Work!

Work, Work, Work!

It suddenly hit me today, that in just over a month i’ll be handing in my last assignment. My final year project hand in date is only a mere 3 weeks away, which is very scary, lots of programming and writing still to do! As well as this I still have a massive Ethical Hacking assignment and an Advanced Forensics report due this week and next week. The 8th April can’t come quick enough! On the upside, hopefully playing football again…
